Kevin Garnett was known to talk plenty of trash to opponents during his playing days, but his intensity wasn't reserved for the court.

Kendrick Perkins, who played alongside Garnett with the Boston Celtics, joined ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on the latest episode of "The Woj Pod" and shared a story about the time his former teammate called out a team physician for breaking the rules regarding postgame meals.

"I remember one time, we used to order Maggiano's, right? And we had spaghetti and all types of shit going on on the buffet line. Shit was good," Perkins said. "So we come in after the game. Everybody knew this rule, right? 'Hey man, don't touch the food. Players eat first.' This was established from Day 1, right? Dr. (Brian) McKeon, obviously he didn't get the message, right?

"So, I remember like yesterday, so KG, he's wrapped up in his towel coming out the shower ... he's like, 'Hey man, what the f--- you doing?' So everybody turn like, 'Oh shit.' Walk over there standing over him with that intimidating like, 'Hey man, what the f--- you doing? Hey man, players eat first. Matter of fact, give me this shit.' Took the plate, boom! Threw it in the trash right in front of his face. 'Hey man, get out of here until the players finish eating, man. F--- wrong with you? We already said this."

Perkins prefaced the story by pointing out that Garnett would often go out of his way for others in the organization, including purchasing tailor-made suits for several Celtics staff members.
