Memphis Grizzlies wing C.J. Miles has opted into his $8.7-million player option for 2019-20, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Miles scored 6.4 points per game on a 46.8 effective field-goal percentage overall this season, split between the Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors.

However, since being traded to Memphis as part of February's Marc Gasol deal, the 32-year-old has averaged 9.3 points per game in 13 appearances, elevating his eFG percentage to 51.4.

The Grizzlies finished the year with a 33-49 record, good for 12th in the Western Conference.
