The 31-year-old was forced to withdraw from the Arnold Palmer Invitational after playing six holes with a sore back in early March. He's bowed out of the Masters early before, doing so in 2012 due to an ankle injury.
For now, Day remains on the course playing alongside Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau.
