Report: Giants to investigate possibility of trading for Rosen

The New York Giants will investigate the possibility of trading for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen, though they're unsure if the sophomore will be made available, SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports.

The NFL rumor mill has been littered with speculation for weeks that Arizona could draft Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, making Rosen dispensable. The Cardinals hold the No. 1 overall pick.

New York has given several indications that it's not particularly high on the 2019 quarterback draft class. The Giants appear content to play another season with 38-year-old pivot Eli Manning despite his apparent decline.

Rosen is expected to generate considerable trade interest if he's put on the block. The 22-year-old was drafted 10th overall by Arizona a year ago.

As a rookie, Rosen completed 55.2 percent of his passes, throwing for 2,278 yards with 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 14 games.
