After 16 storied seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, edge rusher Terrell Suggs is expected to sign a free-agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The pact will return Suggs to the desert, where he went to high school and enjoyed a prolific college career at Arizona State.

Over his time with the Ravens, Suggs went to seven Pro Bowls, won the 2011 NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, and captured Super Bowl XLVII.

Suggs holds the Ravens' career sacks record by a massive margin with 132.5. He accrued 10 or more in seven seasons, most recently in 2017.

The 36-year-old collected 34 tackles and seven sacks last season, helping Baltimore secure an AFC North title.

In Arizona, "T-Sizzle" will form a pass-rushing tandem with Chandler Jones, one of the top sack artists in the league.

The Cardinals have signed several veterans this offseason after finishing the 2018 campaign with the worst record in the NFL, but none with a resume as impressive as Suggs'.
