New England Patriots linebackers coach Brian Flores is expected to be introduced as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor will also be announced Monday as the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, Schefter adds.

NFL teams are allowed to negotiate with the agents of assistant coaches throughout the playoffs but need to wait for the respective team's postseason to end before officially agreeing to terms.

Flores joined the Patriots in 2004 as a scouting assistant. He became the defensive play-caller during the 2018 season after previous coordinator Matt Patricia took over as the head coach of the Detroit Lions.

Taylor was brought on as an assistant receivers coach for the Rams in 2017. Previously, he was the OC at the University of Cincinnati. Taylor will be the second person to secure a head coaching job this hiring cycle after working for the Rams' Sean McVay - Matt LaFleur was named the head coach of the Green Bay Packers in January.
