Baylor coach Matt Rhule has indicated to his staff that he will remain with the program despite interest from the New York Jets for their head coaching vacancy, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Shortly before the report, Rhule appeared to confirm he's staying for a third season in charge of the Bears.
Just briefly spoke with Matt Rhule. I asked him if he was leaving and he said “I’m still in Waco” #Baylor

Adam Gase and Mike McCarthy are believed to be New York's other main contenders to replace Todd Bowles.
Rhule went 1-11 in his first year with Baylor but quickly turned the program around in 2018, improving to 7-6 and winning the Outdoors Texas Bowl against Vanderbilt.
