Texans' Hopkins pledges wild-card game pay to family of murdered 7-year-old girl
Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be donating his earnings from Saturday's AFC wild-card game to the family of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes, who was shot and killed this past weekend.
When I see Jazmine Barnes' face, I see my own daughter. I'm pledging my playoff check this week to help her family with funeral costs and to support @shaunking @SherriffED_HCSO @SylvesterTurner in bringing this man to justice. On Saturday, I will be playing in your honor, Jazmine pic.twitter.com/oCRYSgfGO9

Jazmine was riding in a car with her mother, LaPorsha Washington, and three sisters Sunday morning in Houston when a man in a red pickup truck drove up beside them and began shooting in an apparently unprovoked attack.
Washington suffered a gunshot wound to the arm. Another one of her daughters was injured by shattered glass while the other two girls were unharmed, according to Larry Seward, Melissa Correa, and Doug Delony of KHOU 11.
A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Jazmine's killer.
