The New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals are among the teams expected to interview USC offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury for their head coach openings, sources told Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports.
Kingsbury served as Texas Tech's head coach from 2013 to 2018, but he wasn't retained after this past season and USC hired him as its offensive coordinator on Dec. 5.
Prior to Kingsbury joining USC, the Los Angeles Rams contacted him about a potential offensive assistant/consultant role. He was also vetting other offers from college and NFL teams before going to USC.
Kingsbury is widely considered one of the best offensive minds in college football, and he's coached Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, and Johnny Manziel, among others.
