An image of what's purported to be an unreleased Minnesota Timberwolves "City Edition" jersey has leaked online, and early indications are that Target Center could soon be partying like it's 1999:

Reddit user "Crucialest," who claims to work in a retail store where the new threads had accidentally been put up for sale, posted what appear to be the jersey's matching shorts:

As many have suggested, the purple rain purple motifs are likely a nod to the late musician, Minnesota native, and longtime Timberwolves and Lynx supporter, Prince.
The Timberwolves are likely slated to strike curious poses in their City Edition jersey on Nov. 16 against the visiting Portland Trail Blazers, giving them a few weeks to officially unveil a more vibrant look than last year's monochromatic grey.
