Seattle Seahawks star safety Earl Thomas plans to end his holdout and report to the team Wednesday, the All-Pro told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

The news dropped just moments after it was reported Seattle turned down a second-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys for Thomas, who has been away from the team as he seeks a contract extension.

Thomas confirmed his return in an Instagram post, but it appears there is still tension with the Seahawks, as he wrote: "The disrespect has been well-noted and will not be forgotten."

A source confirmed to ESPN's Dan Graziano that there's no new deal in place between Seattle and Thomas. The Seahawks did, however, wipe out almost all the fines Thomas accumulated from staying away from the team, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The 29-year-old is entering the final season of a four-year, $40-million contract, and has been the subject of trade speculation all offseason as Seattle appears set to rebuild its formerly lauded defense.
