Browns GM: Dez Bryant won't return team's phone calls
Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey acknowledged Thursday he's interested in signing Dez Bryant, but said the free-agent wide receiver "won't return any phone calls," according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
"Maybe he's still thinking about other stuff," Dorsey added.
The Browns, Dorsey said, will host several receivers for workouts Monday and want Bryant to be among them.
Bryant, a three-time Pro Bowler, was released by the Dallas Cowboys in April after eight seasons with the club. The 29-year-old posted 838 yards and eight touchdowns a year ago.
He later tweeted that he's open to the idea:
For real... I wouldn’t mind playing for the browns.. I just want to be right first https://t.co/svDXxKKYkg
