The rumored "Space Jam" sequel may have a new director.

Terence Nance, whose work includes the new HBO series "Random Acts of Flyness," is in advanced negotiations with Warner Bros. to direct "Space Jam 2," according to Umberto Gonzalez of The Wrap. "The Fast and the Furious" director Justin Lin was previously in talks to helm the film.

LeBron James has long been attached to "Space Jam 2," though Gonzalez reports he'll need to approve the script before he officially signs on to star in the film.
