Report: Leonard passes physical with Raptors, trade now official
Kawhi Leonard has reportedly cleared the last major hurdle preventing him from joining the Toronto Raptors.
The All-Star forward passed his physical with the Raptors, making his trade from the San Antonio Spurs officially complete, sources told ESPN's Brian Windhorst on Tuesday.
Leonard heads north of the border along with shooting guard Danny Green, while DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl, and a top-20 protected pick in 2019 go to the Spurs.

He played in just nine games last season for San Antonio due to quadriceps tendinopathy. Not trusting the diagnosis from the team's medical staff, Leonard headed to New York to seek a second opinion and continue his rehab away from the Spurs.
The 27-year-old is reportedly expected to attend Team USA's minicamp in Las Vegas, but it's not clear whether he'll participate on the court in practices.
Leonard last took the floor Jan. 13 in a game against the Denver Nuggets, dropping 19 points on eight shots in 28 minutes of action.
