Former New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo is confident in the team that fired him in December.

"I think (the Giants) made a lot of the moves I wanted to make," McAdoo told The New York Post's Paul Schwartz Thursday. "I think they're gonna win the division."

Currently without an NFL job, McAdoo also took the opportunity to express his concern over the other three teams in the competitive division.

"I think Philly, how much success has Philly had?" McAdoo said. "I think they're gonna have a hard time handling success. Dallas, I like their offensive line, but how long have we been saying that? Their defense, they got a bunch of young guys playing DB, Sean Lee is banged up a lot, and their D-line, they got a bunch of guys getting in trouble all the time. And Washington is Washington, right?"

The Giants finished 3-13 in McAdoo's final campaign as coach, and the Philadelphia Eagles, of course, won Super Bowl LII. New York enters 2018 looking for its second playoff appearance since winning the Super Bowl in 2012.
