Report: Tolliver signs 1-year deal with Minnesota
The Minnesota Timberwolves have reportedly agreed to terms with veteran forward Anthony Tolliver on a one-year deal worth $5.75 million, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.
Tolliver will provide much-needed perimeter shooting from the power forward position next to Karl-Anthony Towns after shooting a career-high 43.6 percent on 4.6 3-point attempts per game with the Detroit Pistons last season.
He averaged 8.9 points and 3.1 boards in 79 contests.
Prior to the deal, the Timberwolves reportedly withdrew their qualifying offer to Serbian forward Nemanja Bjelica, a league source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Bjelica becomes an unrestricted free agent after appearing in 67 contests for Minnesota last season, averaging 6.8 points and 4.1 rebounds and shooting 41.5 percent from three.
