New York Knicks center Enes Kanter immediately denies reports that he's exercised his $18.6-million player option for 2018-19.
"I haven't made any decisions yet," Kanter tweeted out on Friday morning.
Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania initially reported less than 10 minutes earlier on Friday that Kanter had opted to return to the Knicks for the final year of his contract.
It was reported that the Turkish center is "leaning heavily" toward exercising his option as the market is unlikely to supply him with a long-term deal reaching the value of his player option, according to ESPN's Ian Bagley.
