The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly the preferred trade destination for disgruntled San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, but a deal won't come easy for either side.
In the last week, the Lakers reached out to the Spurs to discuss a potential Leonard trade, but San Antonio brass shut talks down, reports ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
"They basically shut the door on us," a source told Shelburne.
No players were discussed, and the conversation has not continued, Shelburne added.
