Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry will miss the 2018 season due to an ACL injury, general manager Tom Telesco confirmed Wednesday, according to Ricky Henne of the team's website.
Telesco added that Henry tore the ligament in Tuesday's practice on a "very routine, non-contact play."
In Henry's absence, Telesco said the Chargers will look at all options for the tight end position, per Hayley Elwood of the team's website, while surgery has not yet been planned.
