Tiger Woods will be playing in the 2018 Memorial Tournament hosted at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, the tournament announced on Twitter.

This will be Tiger's 15th trip to the Memorial, an event he's won five times, with his latest victory coming in 2012. His first appearance at Muirfield Village was in 1997, when he finished tied for 67th.

This will also be tournament No. 8 of the calendar year for the 42-year-old, putting him on pace to play in the most events since his 2013 season.

The Memorial Tournament is a special one on the PGA Tour schedule, as it was founded by - and is hosted by - golf legend Jack Nicklaus.

Other notable golfers to commit this year are Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, and new world No. 1 Justin Thomas.

The Memorial will begin Thursday, May 31.
