It's safe to say that the buzz over Zlatan Ibrahimovic's incredible debut for the LA Galaxy has died down.

Saturday's loss to the New York Red Bulls represented a low point in the Swedish striker's career, as Ibrahimovic claimed that it's the first time he's been part of a team that's lost three consecutive home matches.

While a series of controversial decisions throughout the encounter dominated the post-match discussion, Ibrahimovic, instead, urged the Galaxy, losers of three of their last four matches, to take responsibility for their poor form.

"It's all about us. We need to do more, much more," Ibrahimovic said, according to Jeff Carlisle of ESPN FC. "It's unacceptable, it's not OK, to lose three home games. This is the first time I lose three games in a row, so that is not only about me; it's a team effort. We need to do much more, that's for sure. We need to wake up."

Ibrahimovic, who leads the Galaxy in scoring with three goals in five appearances, was irate with the assistant referee when his 78th-minute tally, which would have been the go-ahead goal, was ruled offside.

The Galaxy were dealt another blow minutes later when the Red Bulls were awarded a penalty after Allen Chapman was called for a handball in the box, even though replays suggested otherwise. The Video Assistant Referee failed to spot the mistake and Alejandro "Kaku" Gamarra converted from the spot for the game-winning goal.

The defeat leaves the Galaxy in fifth place in the Western Conference with 10 points in eight matches.
