The Buffalo Bills have selected wide receiver Austin Proehl out of North Carolina with the 255th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
The 5-foot-10 senior, who is the son of longtime NFL receiver Ricky Proehl, had 21 catches for 337 yards and a touchdown in an injury-plagued final season with the Tar Heels.
While he won't have a major role with the Bills, Proehl could see time as a special teams player or possession receiver in certain sets next season.
