The Miami Dolphins selected cornerback Cornell Armstrong out of Southern Miss with the 209th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Armstrong is the second player in the secondary the Dolphins have taken in the draft after Minkah Fitzpatrick was selected 11th overall Thursday night.
The Southern Miss standout could be a key depth piece for the Dolphins but likely won't see the field in regular defensive sets for the AFC East club.
