Jets select RB Trenton Cannon in 6th round

The New York Jets selected running back Trenton Cannon out of Virginia State in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, 204th overall.

Cannon has excellent pace and should compete for a spot in the Jets' running back rotation immediately.
