Falcons add to receiver depth with Russell Gage

The Atlanta Falcons selected receiver Russell Gage out of LSU with the 194th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
The Falcons acquired the pick via trade with the Los Angeles Rams, sending the 244th and 256th picks to the NFC West club in return.
Gage is the second receiver Atlanta has selected in the draft after Alabama star Calvin Ridley was picked 26th overall in the opening round. While Gage may not be an immediate contributor in the passing attack for the Falcons, he could be a solid piece on special teams to begin his NFL career.
