It'll come down to the wire.
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin will be a game-time decision for Game 2 against the Washington Capitals on Sunday, coach Mike Sullivan confirmed Saturday.
Malkin missed the series-opener, as well as the series-clincher over the Philadelphia Flyers, with an undisclosed injury.
The Russian center took part in practice Saturday, wearing a full-contact jersey and skating with Carter Rowney and Tom Kuhnhackl, while also seeing time on the Penguins' top powerplay unit.
Malkin has recorded five points in five appearances this postseason.
