After his Oklahoma City Thunder were eliminated by the Utah Jazz Friday night, Russell Westbrook was seen swiping angrily at a fan on his way off the floor.

Westbrook later said that he and other players have had a problem with Utah fans specifically.

"I don't confront fans, fans confront me," Westbrook said on the postgame media podium. "Here in Utah, a lot of disrespectful, vulgar things are said to the players ... talk about your families, your kids. It's just a disrespect to the game and I think it's something that needs to be brought up."

Westbrook, known as one of the NBA's more emotional players, added that the hecklers have a sense of bravado from the safety of the stands.

"I'm tired of just going out and playing and let the fans say whatever the hell they want to say," Westbrook said. "I'm not with that, because if I was on the street, they wouldn't just come up to me and say anything crazy because I don't play that s---."
