Report: Derrius Guice slid due to immaturity, poor visits
Derrius Guice was expected to be one of the first running backs selected in the 2018 NFL Draft, but there is apparently a reason for his precipitous descent down draft boards.

Guice was reportedly passed over by teams because of his immaturity, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Moreover, Guice apparently performed poorly during visits with NFL teams.
His nightmare scenario came to an end, however, as the Washington Redskins selected Guice with the 59th overall pick.

"I think there's some things that some teams were worried about, some things in his history. ... There were some things, he's a good kid, there's some things we were a little bit concerned about," Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn said of Guice to Chris Burke of The Athletic.
Guice rushed for 1,251 yards and 11 touchdowns during his final season at LSU.
