The New York Jets, stocked with five quarterbacks on their roster, have started receiving calls about possible trades for Bryce Petty, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Petty saw action in four games last year, and six the previous season. The 2015 fourth-round pick has four touchdowns against seven interceptions for his career.
The Jets drafted Sam Darnold third overall in the 2018 draft Thursday night, and also have Josh McCown, Teddy Bridgewater, and Christian Hackenberg in the fold.
