The San Francisco 49ers have traded offensive tackle Trent Brown and the 143rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft to the New England Patriots for the 95th overall pick, sources told Field Yates of ESPN.

Brown, a three-year veteran, started 26 games at right tackle for the Niners over the past two seasons but finished last year on injured reserve.

New England selected a potential left tackle in the first round of the draft Thursday night in the form of Isaiah Wynn from Georgia, while right tackle Marcus Cannon also ended the 2017 campaign on injured reserve.

Brown has one year left on his contract.
