The Santa Clara County District Attorney's office is in possession of the video that apparently proves Reuben Foster's ex-girlfriend was injured in a fight with another woman and not at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers linebacker, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Stephanie Rickard, the lawyer representing Elissa Ennis, told NBC Sports that prosecutor Kevin Smith is in possession of the video.

Ennis recanted her original statement Wednesday; she originally said Foster in February dragged her out of their house by her hair and punched her in the head multiple times, rupturing her eardrum. Rickard said Ennis lied about the source of her injuries because "she was extremely upset and told him if he broke up with her she would 'trash his career.'"

Rickard said she will let Smith decide whether to release the video.

Foster, a first-round draft pick in 2017, is currently sitting out the 49ers' offseason workouts per the team's instructions. He's been charged with three felonies: domestic violence causing great bodily injury, forcefully attempting to prevent a victim from reporting a crime, and possession of an assault weapon.

Foster’s next court appearance is scheduled for Monday morning.
