It appears the Denver Broncos could be interested in moving up in Thursday's first round of the NFL draft, as a source told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network that the club is expected to explore a trade from the No. 5 pick to the No. 2 spot currently occupied by the New York Giants.

The move would be made with a quarterback as the reported target.

It would be fairly surprising if Denver made such a trade, as the Broncos signed quarterback Case Keenum in the offseason, but the club could target one of the top prospects in the draft to learn from the sidelines before taking over as the starter.

With Eli Manning still in the fold in New York, the trade back would make sense for the Giants, as they could target a top prospect at a position of need from the No. 5 slot.
