Don't look now, but the New York Yankees are starting to get hot.

Winners of four of its last five games and six of eight, New York has appeared to right the ship following a lethargic start and enter Tuesday's game with the Minnesota Twins a season-high three games over .500.

The Yankees' pitching has allowed just three runs over its last three games, while the offense is starting to gel, scoring 28 runs over the last 24 innings.

After being booed by fans at Yankee Stadium following a dreadful start to his tenure in pinstripes, Giancarlo Stanton went 4-for-4 with a home run and a walk against the Twins on Monday, and is now hitting .313/.389/.688 with two home runs and three strikeouts over his last four games.

"This game is tough, man. We put a lot of good at-bats together. We were able to do a lot of damage," Stanton said following the Yankees' 14-1 win Monday, according to Christian Red of the New York Daily News. "You build off anything positive. We're gonna hurt you one through nine. Once we're all clicking, it's gonna be a fun sight."

In addition to Stanton's at-bats improving, the Yankees have also received a major boost from rookie infielder Miguel Andujar, who is hitting .524/.524/1.190 with three home runs and five doubles over the past week.

New York has picked the right time to heat up, as the schedule is about to feature teams leading, or near the top, of their respective divisions. Once they wrap up their four-game set with the Twins, the Yankees go west to play the Los Angeles Angels and Houston Astros, before returning to host the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox.
