Former LSU defensive end Arden Key has told NFL teams that his leave from the school in 2017 was to voluntarily enter rehab for a marijuana problem, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Key was a standout in the LSU defense as a sophomore in 2016, recording 12 sacks, three forced fumbles, and 56 total tackles. He returned slower and heavier for his junior year and recorded just four sacks, one forced fumble, and 33 total tackles.

Pelissero adds that Key could still go as high as the second round in the draft, while NFL Network's Mike Mayock expects him to fall to the fourth or fifth round.
