Johnny Manziel finished his stay in the Spring League on Thursday, and after two solid showings he's headed back to the drawing board as he ponders his future in football.

"I'm straight back to working out and doing what I did when I came here," Manziel said after the Spring League game, according to Sarah Barshop of ESPN. "Everything else will sort itself out. I'm trying to do what I can do to come back to playing football whatever capacity that is."

Manziel went 10-for-16 with 188 yards and an interception in Thursday's contest, while adding 27 yards and two touchdowns rushing. His next step could involve going to the Canadian Football League, where he has an offer from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He could also choose to wait for an offer from an NFL club.

"We know when deadlines are," said Manziel, who'd be expected to report to Hamilton's training camp in mid-May. "We have another month or so to work out and not worry about anything."

Regardless of where he decides to take his career next, the artist known as Johnny Football is thrilled to be back on the gridiron after spending the last two years out of the sport.

"It's been beyond my wildest dreams," he said of his budding comeback. "There was a time there I didn't know if I would actually do it. ... I'm extremely happy just to be healthy, just to get to throw the ball around. I've missed this."
