With the 2018 NFL Draft just one week away, speculation about who the Cleveland Browns will select with the first overall pick is only increasing. General manager John Dorsey, however, won't show his hand just yet.

Speaking at a pre-draft press conference Thursday, Dorsey wouldn't say whether the team has completely settled on its choice.

"The draft is seven days away," Dorsey said, according to ESPN's Pat McManamon. "I'm very confident where we are in the process."

Cleveland's general manager is considering "all options" - including trading the pick or selecting Penn State running back Saquon Barkley.

"Absolutely," Dorsey answered when asked if he had considered picking Barkley first overall, according to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot. "Why wouldn't I? The guy's a really good football player. You can't have enough good football players."

However, it's widely expected that the Browns will select either Sam Darnold or Josh Allen at No. 1.

MMQB's Peter King previously reported that Cleveland will select Allen, citing a "friend of Dorsey." The Browns executive cast doubt on King's source, asking, "Who is 'friend of Dorsey'? I go dark at this time of year.''
