Johnson only played 43 snaps in 2017, a year after producing an outstanding 2,188-yard, 20-touchdown season.
The 26-year-old will spearhead the new-look Cardinals in 2018 and beyond after the team lost Bruce Arians and Carson Palmer to retirement.
