Stars losing streak hits 8 games; longest since move to Dallas
The Dallas Stars dropped their eighth straight game Sunday night with a 4-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.
The defeat makes their current losing skid the longest by the franchise since they made the move to Dallas for the 1993-94 season and longest overall since 1978.
That's an 8th straight loss, marking it the longest losing streak since franchise moved to Dallas.

The loss means their slim hopes at making the playoffs are much more bleak. The club now has one victory in their last 10 contests and sits five points out of the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference with just six games remaining.
