The Dallas Cowboys have selected linebacker Chris Covington out of Indiana with the 193rd overall pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Covington will likely have to earn a roster spot via special teams, as he boasts plenty of athleticism to get down the field but lacks polish as a linebacker.

What the analysts are saying
- "Covington is a better athlete than skilled linebacker at this point in his development, but he has intriguing length, speed, and athleticism that could be moldable on the next level." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
- "Weakside linebacker frame with the game speed to make plays in free-roaming role. Better chasing from the backside than flowing through traffic. Not a block-shedder either." - CBS Sports
