Burnett signs with Steelers on 3-year deal worth reported $14.5M

Free-agent safety Morgan Burnett signed a three-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday.
The contract is worth $14.5 million, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Burnett was widely considered the best safety available, and the Steelers had a glaring need at the position.

He spent the first eight years of his career with the Green Bay Packers, where he was a starter since his sophomore year. However, the team opted against bringing the strong safety back.
