The San Francisco 49ers plan to make a significant addition to their offensive line once free agency opens Wednesday.
The Niners intend to sign interior lineman Weston Richburg to a five-year deal, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.
The New York Jets were reportedly also interested in the former New York Giant.
Instead, one of the top interior linemen available goes off the board.
