The Seattle Seahawks signed safety Bradley McDougald to a multi-year contract extension Monday.
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the deal is a three-year extension worth $13.95 million.
McDougald recorded 75 tackles and four pass deflections in 16 games in 2017, making nine starts.
Seattle appears to be in a state of transition after releasing cornerback Richard Sherman, while some have speculated safety Kam Chancellor may retire, thus giving McDougald a larger role.
McDougald is capable of playing both free and strong safety.
