Report: Eagles working hard to keep Robinson before free agency
The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly working hard to retain one of their unsung heroes before he hits the free-agent market.
The Eagles are expected to reach a deal with corner Patrick Robinson before the legal tampering window with free agents opens Monday, sources told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Robinson has bounced around the league over the last four years, but he found a role with the Eagles in 2017 and helped them attain their first championship in the Super Bowl era. He hauled in four interceptions during the regular season and his 50-yard pick-6 helped turn the tide in the NFC Championship Game.
Robinson was expected to command a lot of attention in free agency, but the Eagles hope to avoid such a scenario.
The Eagles will have to get creative to do so, as they enter the free-agency period $9 million over the cap.
