LeBron James may not be interested in making the switch to the NFL, but Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid seems receptive to the idea.
Embiid joked about playing alongside Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton after a report emerged Saturday about Fanatics owner Michael Rubin entering the race to buy the team.
Aye that's my guy so looks like I might have to switch sports @CameronNewton you need a wide receiver? 👀👀👀 https://t.co/NWioDQooZh

Newton was quick to respond to Embiid's pitch, tweeting, "Boy duh! We always can get better" in his trademark hieroglyphics.
