The Miami Dolphins are discussing the possibility of releasing star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, sources told Dianna Russini of ESPN.
Suh carries a $26.1-million cap in 2018, the third highest in the league, according to Spotrac. Miami would only save $3.9 million in cap space by releasing him.
The 31-year-old remains one of the game's top interior lineman; however, his production has never quite matched his enormous contract, and his cap hit in 2019 increases by $2 million - an almost untenable amount.
