Bengals expect Mixon to be team's bell cow in 2018

The Cincinnati Bengals expect more from running back Joe Mixon in 2018.
Director of player personnel Duke Tobin spoke at the NFL Scouting Combine on Wednesday and spoke of an expanded role for Mixon.
"He's going to be our bell cow running back and we are going to combine him with Gio (Bernard)," Tobin said.
The Bengals used a second-round pick on Mixon in 2017, but were cautious with his usage. He finished the year strong and ultimately led the team in rushes (178), yards (626), and rushing touchdowns (four). Bernard, a five-year vet, ranked second on the team in all three categories.
