Dolphins' Gase names Tannehill starter: 'That's not changing anytime soon'

Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase threw his full support behind Ryan Tannehill on Wednesday.
Speaking at the NFL Scouting Combine, Gase let it be known there's no question who will be under center in 2018.
"Ryan is going to be our starting quarterback and I don't see that changing anytime soon," Gase said.
Tannehill missed all of 2017 as he recovered from a knee injury. Jay Cutler came out of retirement to play in his stead.
The Dolphins own the 11th overall pick in the upcoming draft, which is rich in quarterback prospects. But even if the Dolphins select a young passer, keeping Tannehill as the starter is the plan beyond next season, Gase said.
