Spring is in the air and baseballs will begin their annual ascent into orbit.

Giancarlo Stanton is set to make his highly anticipated debut with the New York Yankees in Friday's spring training opener against the Detroit Tigers. He'll pick up where he left off in 2017 with the Miami Marlins, playing in right field and batting second, sandwiched between Jacoby Ellsbury and Greg Bird.

Fans will have to wait a little bit longer before getting a taste of Stanton and Aaron Judge mashing in the same lineup.
