Reilly signed a two-year, $1.45-million contract in July, but has had a difficult time earning regular minutes on Minnesota's blue line.
The 24-year-old is slotted on the third pairing with Nate Prosser. In 38 games this season - his third in the NHL - Reilly has two goals and eight assists.
