Baker Mayfield may be a Heisman trophy winner, but the former Oklahoma standout still has work to do if he's to prove himself as one of the best quarterback in this year's draft class.

While Mayfield is expected to be a first-round pick, he still trails Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold in most mock drafts and also has the likes of Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson nipping at his heels.

The NFL Scouting Combine - which is set to take place March 2-5 - will be one of Mayfield's last chances to separate himself from the pack, and the young signal-caller intends to do everything at the event.

"There's a reason I'm going there and I'm going to throw. I'm going to do everything," Mayfield said, according to Eric Bailey of tulsaworld.com. "I'm just going to show what I show on Saturdays is who I am every week, every day. Competitive. I'm going to do everything I can to prove I'm still working hard."

Mayfield has on-field questions to answer, but the more important part of the combine for him may be interviews with teams, where he has the chance to address any character concerns they may have following a season in which he consistently made headlines with his brash antics.
